Are hearing aids waterproof?

• Turn the device immediately
• Take out the battery and wipe clean the device with a dry cloth,
• Shrug it and gently shake it pour out the remaining water if any,
• Keep the hearing aid on a dry cloth in a warm, dry place for several hours with the battery compartment open.

If your hearing aid is IP rated it is water resistant to a limit but not wholly waterproof.
